Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to be responsible for working with their outsourced manufacturer to ensure supply meets demand and drive continuous improvement.  Our client offers a vibrant and global team, generous paid time off, investment opportunities as well as fosters a philosophy of growth from within. 

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
• Establish procedures, process, strategy, and report formatting to achieve an efficient supply chain.
• Manage suppliers to ensure material pipeline, production, on-time-delivery and other supply chain activities.
• Observe and mitigate supply risk and shortages.
• Initiate continuous improvement on OTD, inventory and cost.
• Optimize inventory levels and work with teams on EOL processes
• Be the 1st escalation point for the supply chain issue of projects.
• Support and/or identify second source for parts
• Acts as part of the team, coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years working experience in supply chain operations
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous ERP/MRP material planning experience a plus.
• OEM/EMS or multi-national company experience is a plus.
• Good organizational and logical thinking skills.
• Aggressive in action and change, strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with can do/decisive attitude.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, V-Lookup, filtering & sorting)
