We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled FSQA (Food Safety and Quality Assurance) Professional to join our team. As an FSQA Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of our clients’ food products throughout the entire supply chain.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain food safety and quality management systems, adhering to industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, production processes, and suppliers to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and execute corrective actions to address any identified food safety and quality issues promptly.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate employees on food safety best practices and quality control measures.
- Monitor and analyze data related to food safety metrics and product quality to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new products, processes, and technologies, ensuring they meet food safety and quality requirements.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers to address inquiries, audits, and resolve any compliance-related matters.
- Lead investigations into food safety incidents and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential risks.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements in food safety technologies, and changes in regulations to ensure continuous improvement of the FSQA program.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to conduct sensory evaluations and ensure product consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Champion a culture of food safety and quality within the organization, promoting best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in food safety and quality assurance roles within the food industry.
- Knowledge of relevant food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 22000, BRC).
- Strong understanding of food processing and manufacturing practices, as well as quality control methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex food safety and quality issues.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proven track record of implementing food safety and quality programs that resulted in improved compliance and product quality.
