Brunswick Boat Group Web Content Role

Team:
  • Supports Brunswick Boat Group (10 brands & 10 websites)
  • Team of 3 working alongside this role
Day to day:
  • Support ongoing website migrations (initially 3–4 sites)
  • Build landing pages, manage navigation, and input content
  • Upload and manage images in DAM
  • Identify, log, and assist with testing bugs and enhancements
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and Marketing Managers
Tools:
  • Migration from Adobe AMS to Adobe Cloud
  • Requires strong Adobe CMS experience
Schedule & Logistics:
  • 40 hours/week, preferred CST hours (8a-5pm M–F)
  • Can be FULLY REMOTE OR Hybrid (3x/week) in Mettawa or Chicago offices
Timeline:
  • Contract/project-based role (no guarantee of permanent conversion, but potential networking opportunities)
  • ASAP start
Requirements:
  • 4 years of experience, open to less
  • CMS experience required; no specific industry background needed
Potential Challenges they will face?

Job Description:

As Content Specialist, you will be involved with building web pages and integrating front end functionality such as web forms in Brunswick’s  enterprise Adobe Experience Manager CMS, supporting multiple brands’ marketing initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Technology within the Enterprise Digital Center of Excellence.

The Content Specialist must have an understanding of how CMS systems work to support website content. An understanding of common website functionality like HTML and CSS is a must for this role, as is the ability to troubleshoot visual display issues in responsive site content.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create pages in a CMS using a mixture of custom components
  • Gain a firm understanding of what each component does and how to use them on a given page, partnering with UX and digital product teams to maintain a library of digital experience components
  • Provides estimates for content entry for planning and scheduling purposes
  • Collaborate with Brand Digital Marketing leadership and the QA team to ensure content is tested for quality and accuracy prior to launch
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and developers to resolve content defects and bugs
  • Assist with production maintenance of content entries, ensuring all content meets SEO, analytics and social sharing tagging requirements
  • Review work of brand marketing team members to ensure quality and accuracy of content and readiness for production.
  • Conduct code reviews.
  • Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.

  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4+ years of experience implementing Adobe AEM, develop and support AEM components, integrations and applications using system best practices.
  • Experience and understanding of full Stack AEM to include HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Working experience of Marketo, Adobe Target and Adobe Launch a plus
  • CMS migration and/or content management experience is required
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and solve content issues
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps or JIRA
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience implementing web content management systems in a large corporate environment.
