We are partnering with a major global airline and travel brand headquartered in the Chicago area to find an experienced Event Marketing & Operations Specialist to support a high-profile annual sales conference and other strategic events.
This role will play a critical part in planning and executing a large annual sales conference for 400+ attendees, along with supporting regional customer events, sponsorship activations, and event operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinating logistics and execution for large-scale internal and customer-facing events
- Managing sponsorship requests, attendee logistics, and event deliverables
- Supporting budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and reporting
- Partnering cross-functionally across marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams
- Managing event inventory, materials, and sales calendars
- Providing onsite event support and ensuring seamless execution
What they are looking for:
- Experience with event management platforms such as Cvent, Stova, or EventAirs
- Strong event planning, vendor management, and budget administration skills
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Bonus experience:
- Creative content or presentation development
- Sponsorship and partnership management
- Inventory management
- Corporate conference or sales meeting experience

$25.00/hr W2
32 hours/week (Tuesday–Thursday, 8 AM–4 PM)
