Job Description:
The Procurement Coordinator will provide high-volume operational support to the Procurement team during ERP implementation, with a primary focus on the launch of a new supplier portal. This temporary role is responsible for supporting overflow workload by conducting supplier outreach, assisting suppliers with portal onboarding, and responding to questions related to portal navigation and usage.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound supplier outreach to communicate supplier portal requirements
  • Assist suppliers with portal registration, login, and navigation questions
  • Respond to inbound supplier inquiries related to profile setup, document submission, and portal functionality
  • Track supplier onboarding status and follow up to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier issues or escalate technical concerns
  • Maintain documentation and tracking logs related to supplier outreach and portal adoption
  • Support procurement operations during ERP implementation by managing overflow and administrative workload


Education and Experience

  • Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support
  • Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Workday, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Excel experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with external suppliers
  • Ability to manage high volumes of outreach and follow-up activities
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
