Job Title: Web Content Specialist (CMS / Migration Focus)
Location: Hybrid – Mettawa, IL or Downtown Chicago, IL (Tues–Thurs onsite preferred, flexibility available)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Web Content Specialist to support a high-visibility, enterprise-wide website migration initiative across ~19 brand sites.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Web Team Lead and cross-functional partners to execute content migration, publishing, QA, and optimization within a CMS-driven environment. You’ll play a critical role in rebuilding and launching a priority site (~50–75 pages), followed by localization and additional migrations.
This is a technical, execution-focused role—ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, performance-driven web content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute content migration, publishing, and updates within enterprise CMS platforms (AEM, Optimizely, Sitecore)
- Perform content QA to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to UX and accessibility standards
- Implement SEO best practices including keyword optimization, metadata, and content structure
- Support content localization and translation workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally using tools like Jira/DevOps to manage workflows and timelines
- Manage digital assets within DAM systems, ensuring proper governance and organization
- Contribute to site migration efforts including validation, testing, and post-launch optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows using AI and automation tools
Top Must Haves:
- 2–4 years of experience with enterprise CMS platforms (AEM, Optimizely, Sitecore)
- Hands-on experience with content migration, publishing, and QA
- Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, UX fundamentals, and content structure
- Experience with SEO (keyword research + on-page optimization)
- Proven ability to manage high-volume work in fast-paced environments
Top Nice to Haves:
- Experience supporting site migrations or replatforming initiatives
- Familiarity with DAM systems and content workflows
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, DevOps)
- Background in retail, eCommerce, CPG, consumer electronics, or automotive
- Exposure to Google Analytics or Search Console
AI & Innovation (Key Differentiator):
- Actively using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) in day-to-day work
- Applying AI to content creation, QA, SEO, or workflow automation
- Demonstrates curiosity, experimentation, and a continuous improvement mindset
Schedule & Duration:
- Full-time, standard business hours (8:30am–5:30pm)
- Target Start Date: Mid-April 2026
- Duration: 12-month contract with strong potential to convert full-time
