CHICAGO, Ill. – September 18, 2023 — Catena Solutions, a premier supply chain consultancy, is proud to announce that Vice President Jennifer D’Angelo has been named as one of the winners of this year’s Women in Supply Chain Award. This award is presented by Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics.

Jennifer was recognized for her work leading Catena’s delivery team, offering invaluable expertise and resources to ensure the smooth execution of successful and timely initiatives by the firm’s consultants. As a result of D’Angelo’s passion and astute leadership, Catena Solutions has emerged as a recognized authority delivering transformational consulting services for prominent supply chain organizations and manufacturers.

Established in 2022, Catena Solutions has successfully assisted more than 200 clients with strategic supply chain initiatives and transformations, including some of the world’s largest, most respected brands in the food and beverage, household and consumer goods and manufacturing industries. This involves bringing together the right people to support supply chain organizations with their business initiatives and transformations, including digital, financial, human capital solutions, and more.

“I am honored to be recognized as a ‘Woman in Supply Chain’ alongside such an accomplished group of women,” said Jennifer D’Angelo “I believe that mentoring and supporting other women within the industry is invaluable to driving innovation and forging a path towards a more inclusive and dynamic industry. I’m so proud of all the work my team at Catena Solutions has done to prioritize maintaining a culture that provides ample opportunities for women in the supply chain industry to excel.”

“This year, we received over 400 submissions, the highest amount of applications not only for this award, but also for all of our awards. This year, 39 women self-nominated, a tremendous uptick from last year’s award, which just saw 12 self-nominations. This shows progress. This shows hope that one day, we won’t need an award like this because men and women in the supply chain will be equal,” says Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
