Food processing company
The company was struggling to successfully implement their Business Process Reengineering (BPR) project and other improvement initiatives.
Additionally, due to SAP ECC support being discontinued, there was urgency around implementing SAP S/4HANA for the financial component.
We deployed a Supply Chain Finance & SAP consultant to the company to deliver expertise and drive adoption and standardization of industry best-in-class processes, metrics, reporting, and overall solutions.
Our consultant advised on three crucial aspects of the BPR project:
Deliverables included specific recommendations for process and reporting changes; creation of KPIs and dashboards; an implementation plan with estimated timing and resource requirements; and recommendations for scope and timing of future BPR phases and additional improvement initiatives.
Our consultant’s unique supply chain, finance, and SAP experience helped with the strategic aspects of the project including discussing the profit center hierarchy setup, identification of forward-looking financial planning tools, linkage of the S&OP process to the financial planning process, process improvements for better decision making, streamlining reporting, policy development, and resource optimization.
